This original drawing of Clara Barbier Serrano, a classical singer who I drew at rehearsals at Sophie's Barn in Oxfordshire. The drawing was done live while she played in an hour long recital.

Inspiration

I regularly attend concerts and draw during live performance to capture the expression that is unique to each musician. I look for flow when a musician disappears into the music during performance so I can capture their expression.
