This original drawing is of Joanna Kacperek, a pianist who I drew at rehersals at Sophies Barn in Oxfordshire. The drawing was drawn live while she played in an hrs private recital.
I regularly attend concerts and draw during live performance to capture the expression that is unique to each musician. I look for flow when a musician disappears into the music during performance so I can capture their expression.
All original artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by William Rowsell
