This canvas print is a reproduction of a watercolor painting I painted en plein air of punts moored at Cherwell Boathouse in Oxford. The river is very green so I responded with a full palette of greens and captured the reflections of the punts in the water.

Inspiration

I was painting at Cherwell boathouse in Oxford and wandered to the end of the rows of punts moored up along the side of the river. The shapes and construction of the punts are wonderful as a subject. In this instance I just used a loose approach with watercolor on paper.
