I was staying in Bosham with friends and got away to paint for an few hours. I painted Bosham from across the water looking across the mud flats with a row of old broken and rotten posts from an old jetty. The posts formed a perfect subject to lead the eye in my painting to the church. I painted in oils on board on a very hot day in full sun at about mid day whic is quite hard as you cant match colours very easily.
