I joined an inaugural group session of The Oxford Plein Air Painters. We met at The Black Sheep Cafe then sauntered down to the river and foubnd a beautiful spot looking down The Cherwell behind the Botanical Gardens.
I first captured this preparatory sketch to work out the composition for the painting.
