This original drawing of the Recordare choir was drawn while they sang at Inner Temple in London in a memorial concert to raise money for young musicians. The drawing was drawn live and captures the singers lost in the expression of the music.
I regularly attend concerts and draw during live performance to capture the expression that is unique to each musician. I look for flow when a musician disappears into the music during performance so I can capture their expression.
