This original painting of boats in Rock estuary below the sailing club was painted en plein air when the tide was out.
I wandered down to the boats below the siling club and spotted a swan meandering up and down the channel between me and a sand bar. The sun came out and lit the sand up and I was captivated by the shimmering water and the corresponding colours between the sand and the rocks and water.
