This canvas print is a reproduction of an original monoprint fashion drawing.  It was inspired by an Ellipsis fashion design, featuring two mirrored figures dressed in a long draped silk gown in pinks and red. The two figures are the same but have been digitally remastered using scale and reversed.

Inspiration

I was originally inspired by an Ellipsis fashion shoot photograph and drew figures using the fashion reference and created a monoprint in the studio at Oxford Printmakers. The artwork was meticulously created by painting inks onto a large-format acrylic plate before being expertly transferred using the Rochat press. The piece captures the intricate textures and dynamic forms of contemporary fashion.
