Inspiration

My daughter was an extra in one of the St Trinian's films of the 2000's directed by Barnaby Thompson. I went on set at Liverpool station and drew the girls dressed up in their scruffy school clothes. One young girl stood out and I created this sketch. It reminded me of playing conkers in the playground and this image was born. I have printed this etching in a number of colour ways and editions.
