This canvas print is a reproduction of a drawing of 'Fashion in time'. Rendered in coloured pencil on paper and playing with the concept of looking back in time with receding figures in a mirror.

Inspiration

This fashion illustration was inspired by models from Drawing Cabaret Couture and features a repeating figure gradually retreating into time.  It is reminiscent Jean Cocteau's mirrored reflections. The figure turns to gaze back, gently fading into the past.
