I painted as a wildcard contestant in a Sky Arts Landscape competition in 2019. I was painting in the walled garden behind the castle and the apple trees were lovely framed by the castle behind. Herstmonceux Castle Estate is a distinctive visitor attraction, set within woodland, wildflower meadows, and gardens in East Sussex.
