Painting live dance in Oxford

Painting live dance in Oxford

I painted live ballet dancers at The United Reformed Church in Oxford. This has a good space for dance classes and has become a community arts centre for Summertown. I painted large scale in inks on long sheets of Fabriano using Chinese calligraphy brushes. I work fast and at large scale to translate the physical movement into my painting arm.
