I have taken part in Windsor Plein Air several times as its a very special day painting inside the walls of Windsor Castle. In 2018 it was early on in my quest to try and paint using oil paints. To my utter surprise I managed to win the public vote for my painting of Moat Gardens inside the castle. I look back in horror at my efforts then but every picture is a stepping stone on your quest to learn and improve.
