Launching at Low Tide is a canvas art print by William Rowsell, reproducing a black-and-white charcoal drawing of dinghies setting off from Bosham Quay in Chichester Harbour. I drew the scene from the steps beside the boathouse while the tide was out.
I was next to the sailing club boathouse at Bosham when a small fleet of Oppies caught my eye as they set off for a race. From the end of the slipway, I quickly sketched the boats heading down the harbour. Low tide let me work from the steps without getting my feet wet.
This product is a canvas reproduction of the charcoal drawing, not the original artwork.
