When I painted as a wildcard at Sky landscape Arts Competition in 2018 I was in Hastings the night before the competition and experienced an amazing evening in the harbour. The last of the evening light shone across the harbour and landed on the harbour wall. I knew it had to be painted the moment I saw it. So here is the record of that moment in paint. This is a large painting on stretched linen and took about two weeks to paint.
